About us

Uniting the diverse car community through apparel #nyoom

Our collections are developed by an apparel, and textile designer & founder of this company, Aleks, who reflects on the aspects of driving, car maintenance, racing and the whole automotive industry. Aleks is convinced that fun cars are just toys we never grew out of. Originally hailing from Europe, he moved to San Francisco years ago to pursue education and a career in apparel design. He got inspired by the US community of car enthusiasts, and this is how Very Expensive was born.

Founded in 2018, after months of developing ideas, sampling, and researching apparel, Very Expensive* has reached the public market in the 2019. Everything from the trademarked logos to the exclusive prints developed for VE*, the elements are designed exclusively for each collection, and only offered at veryxpensive.com

The ultimate designer apparel products, for the ultimate driving enthusiasts. The clients of Very Expensive may come from different paths, but they all have one thing in common - the absolute appreciation and passion for cars and their superb design.

Why Very Expensive? We believe that the best things in life are free, but the second best are very expensive*. There is nothing like the feeling of freedom one has driving their favorite car and listening to their favorite tune on a highway at night. Just you, your car, and that absolute sense of pure joy. Being one with the vehicle, in the moment, feeling the wind blowing down your neck. Money can’t buy you happiness, but it can buy you a car, or a cool car t-shirt. And for us, that’s pretty much the same thing.

A lot of us, especially boys, used to draw a lot of funky supercars as kids. We were feeling free and allowed ourselves to dream big. Every single car model or a more peculiar car seen on the street used to cause so much joy and emotion. We've built on this idea, and hope to continue spreading this feeling of freedom through apparel.

Be a part of the community, be Very Expensive*
